CONCEPT & DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

1) Concept Development, Feasibility, Production Evaluation studies are free with your orders. Just email yr draft drawing/art info/usage/market info to our Design & Engineering Team for immediate hands-on work: design@atechpackaging.com 

2) We'll send a Preliminary Designs will be proposed to you with Price Estimates so you know what to expect should you choose to proceed with the project.

3) Upon Agreement, we will proceed to other development and planning stage.

PRINTING OPTIONS   

(If applicable)

1) PIZZA BOXES: Depends on yr preferences, the market and the price range you like.

2) OTHER BOXES: Most are done in cmyk full color anyway (4-6 color presses)

3) For long term orders, we may provide films/plates free of charge. There is no set-up charges with us except for unusual/extraordinary packages.

PAPER FORMULA AND OPTIONS

1) We determine the specific PAPER TYPES, SPECS, FORMULAS of each layer to suit EACH SIZE, EACH TYPE OF BOXES, and YOUR PREFERENCES.

2) CORRUGATED OPTIONS: B, E, C, E, F, EE, EF...The specs of each layer is further determined to meet the box type/size/usage/economy.

3) PAPER BOARDS: Premium Papers, Coated Common Papers, Low-Hi Density Gray boards, Clay-coated Boards, Kraft, White....Each is determined at the most suitable but precise weight class/coating/treatment to suit your printing/package.

DIES, MOLDS, TOOLING

Depending on each type of products, DIES AND MOLD may differ. For example:

1) For FLAT-SHEET boxes such as pizza boxes, other boxes, etc. there are NO die cutting cost. Complex boxes may require tooling cost from $250 to $450.

2) For 3-D FORMED packages such as TRAYS, CLAMSHELLS, etc. there are various tooling cost from CNC trays/cutting molds to form molds. Our Design/Engineering Dept will provide this info within the development stage so you will know what to expect. Custom molds require larger usage quantity to justify FREE mold cost.

3) We do not sell or provide the dies or molds to you because they are made for our equipment only; We do not service or maintain molds for outside customers.

PROTOTYPE FABRICATION & PROCEDURES

1) PROTOTYPE is an important step for your project. Most others may not or cannot fabricate prototypes for you because of the high cost ($500 - $2000); We will produce prototypes for you for free (except shipping cost) with your orders. Without an order or an ordering plan, prototypes cost from $200 to $500

2) Each project allows 1 prototype and can be made within 3 weeks from order.
